LADY GAGA FOR THIERRY MUGLER (SCHEISSE)

I know, I am late and nearly on every blog you can read about the cooperation of Lady Gaga and the fashionlabel Thierry Mugler. But I am a little monster, so I have to write about it. We all know it fell silent about the label Mugler. Nothing easier than clawing the most successful superstar Lady Gaga to produce a remix of a song called "Scheiße" (German "shit"). "Scheiße" is supposed to be on her new album ("Born this way") which will be released in May 2011.

Thierry Mugler conceived a fashionvideo ("Anatomy Of Change"), accentuated with Gaga's song. Regrettably we can only understand her words "I don't speak German, but I can if you like" and "Ich liebe Haus de Mugler".

The beat is felicitous, also the black/white video. So I am curious about May, when "Born this way" will be in stores.

MBFW BERLIN // STEPHAN PELGER

Long dresses, colorful flowerprints and black hats - a short summary of the first collection of rumanian young-desinger Stephan Pelger. I liked the pieces with fur and the clothes (dresses) which haven't been so decorated with flowers, cristals and tulle. For me the collection is a little bit too much "east-european" - so overcharge and corny.

Some models walking for him were winners of the German version of "Next Topmodel". Hardly surprising Stephan is participant of the TV-show "Fashion and Fame".

MBFW BERLIN // KILIAN KERNER

Kilian Kerner was wonderful. It was my first real fashionshow and I was so excited. The collection is so clear and black - most of the pieces ;) But as you can see there are those stunning eyecatchers in the signal-color pink. For women of course, but also for men! Long scarves in pink, pullovers and trousers. The dresses of the female models were in awesome cuts and some of them were diamonded.

All in all it was a great start for me to feel this "fashion week feeling" I had those three days.

Wow, my first Fashion Week is so near!

Tomorrow at 6:20am my flight from Stuttgart to Berlin will depart. In the moment I am packing my bags and getting more nervous by every hour that pasts.

On friday I will land in Berlin at 7:40am, the first show for me will start at 1am with the Kilian Kerner show. Then at 2pm I will be at the GSHOCK launge in a store. I think I will go shopping then, need to go to WEEKDAY. At 11pm the Kilian Kerner Aftershowparty starts in a cool Club, thats my last date for that day.
On Saturday we propably will be at the Marcel Ostertag show at 10am. Then at the Stephan Pelger show at 4:30pm. We've no plans for saturday evening. Any suggestions?

On Sunday morning we'll return to southern Germany.

I wish you all a perfect weekend and I am so sure that I will post a lot (photos) of the Fashion Week Berlin. One wish: God please take away my tension!

SCHEDULING MERCEDES BENZ FASHIONWEEK BERLIN

Hey! A longer time ago, I posted my last entry about the contest of SHIGGERSONSTEET - I didn't won but nevertheless I will maybe be at the show.
Today is stressful! In the moment I am packing my clothes for the weekend, in one hour I have my hair appointment. I decided to do a sidecut again, I hope it will look good.
Here a photo I made a few minutes ago, tomorrow I will post my "time schedule" - The weekend will be fantastic!

SHIGGERSONSTREET GEWINNSPIEL

Wow, DAS nenn ich mal ein cooles gewinnspiel!
Dustin von SHIGGERSONSTREET hatte die super Idee je zwei Eintrittskarten für die Shows von Marcel Ostertag, Dimitri und Irene Luft auf der kommenden Mercedes-Benz Fashionweek Berlin zu verlosen.

Da ich ab dem 21. wegen der FW sowieso in Berlin bin, aber leider noch keine Karte(n) für die Marcel Ostertag Show am Samstag habe, mach ich da natürlich mit. Das tolle: Es werden zwei Eintrittskarten verlost, das heißt Begleitperson inclusive und weil ich mit einer Freundin nach Berlin komme würde das perfekt passen.
Also drückt mir die Daumen dass es klappt, ich werde noch einen extra Post über die Fashionweek machen bevor ich fliege. Einen wunderschönen Mittwoch noch, Julius.

I love Fiasco Magazine and Francisco Lachowski (FORD NY) is one of my favourite topmodels, in any case. I love the idea of doing a whole issue in black and white so I decided to show you the photos of the "NEW SUITS" article with Chico. I like the pictures because of the clear lines, the "play with the shadow" and on the one side those cool, permeable poses - on the other side those very strong and tough ones. It's a perfect combination.
Most of the looks are by Y-3 (very rock 'n' roll), the others are by Dior Homme and the New Yorker Label Ducky Brown.
