For me Instagram became the most addictive App ever. It's the easiest way to share great moments with hundreds of people at the same time. And of course there were some of these moments during Berlin Fashion Week. Berlin fashion week ended with the show of the highly praised designer Dawid Tomaszewski (klick here to see my interview with him). Mystic, dark, elfish and melancholic are some adjectives coming in my mind when I think about his AW 13 collection. And there is one more: brilliant! Wonderful black and bronze dresses with perfect suiting accessoires on the neck and on the hands and feet of the models, flowing fabrics and beautiful red carpet looks. Every female (German) VIP should get dressed for events in Tomaszewski!
Berlin fashion week at it's best: Lala Berlin. When
it comes to the biggest Berlin designer labels Leyla Piedayesh's "Lala
Berlin" is one of the first to be mentioned. Before the show started I
was pretty sure that I wont be dissapointed by the FW 13 collection and
when the first model came down the runway I knew I was right: From perfect
red and rose looks to very classy black outfits on wonderful girls wearing big hats and long coats. Favourite pieces: the black/white look in the middle of collage 1...
...and the exciting aztec print pants and bodys down here.
Day 2 at Berlin Fashion Week - The second day with shows and presentations. What really stuck in my mind? Being backstage and taking part at the studio show of Barre Noire. Two weeks ago I visited the labels head of design in his atelier in Berlin (see the post here). Seeing how a show takes place and how many people are involved in such an event is quite impressive - from stylists to models, from make up-artists to PR people, everything needs to be organized in the best possible way.
Hien Le opened the Berlin Fashion Week with wonderful light looks yesterday morning in the tent. Im so in love with these summer-looking winter clothes Hien created in the last few months. As I am totally into sweater this winter so I adore the first male look in the picture down here. TOTALLY NEED IT!
